Warm Nordic brand has always been dedicated to the environment, trying to decrease its environmental footprint as much as possible. In their research to reach the sustainable design values, a new product was created - RE-PLAST.
Re-plast is made of recycled plastic bottles coming from Carlsberg which cannot be disposed of or sorted as ordinary plastic Instead, Re-plastic creates a recycled material from the kegs, which are washed and pulverised into small flakes that are then heat-pressed into sheets.
The result is a sustainable material that can be used for furniture for example, seats and tabletops. The material has both natural irregularities in its surface texture and color variations, creating a unique, contemporary look. That means that no surface is the same as another. What they all have in common is the sustainable concept.
